I'm not sure if this should really go under traditional art...it is a watercolour but i edited it so much on photoshop haha.
My scanner is terrible as well so the colour's came out a little weird and you can tell where the A4 part of the page (which was A3 when i did it) splits >: |.

The wings aren't clearly wings but oh well!

Scanners are notorious for destroying traditional art when transferring it into the digital format. I would say since the majority of the work was done traditionally and photoshop only used for repair it being under Traditional Art is just fine. Such detail with watercolor! Love this one very much, especially the soft look of the surrounding wings and the fine lines of Garnet's hair.

yeah, mine is an all in one scanner/printer/photocopier as well which is never a good thing haha.

That's a really nice piece! I'm really surprised at how much this work feels like an expression of Yoshitaka Amano's style. I'm not sure I've yet seen another that comes so close.

i was inspired by amano when i did this piece, but i tried to make it sort of...loosely inspired. i didn't use any references to try and avoid it being a replica haha. it's my favourite style to do when working traditionally : ).
